Of the 23 companies that have reported earnings this morning, 22 have beaten on the bottom line and 19 on the top line. That’s a beat rate of 96% and 86%, respectively. That continues the impressive beat rate seen for 3Q results, though of course one can argue that the bar was set so low anything less than an impressive earnings season would be a disappointment.
