Buy the Rumor, Sell the News. Tesla delivered a record number of cars worldwide in the third quarter. Deliveries of 139,300 smashed the 129,950 estimate. While that makes it slightly easier for it to hit its annual sales goal, shares fell 7.4%. Tesla didn't say whether it still expects to deliver at least 500,000 vehicles this year. As of Sept. 30, it's handed over 318,350.
