对于gnome42
for GNome 42 follow the steps which a guy have stated below
1) GO TO https://codeberg.org/som/DrawOnYourScreen
2) Download and decompress or clone the repository ( i used git clone term command)
3) Extract it somewhere
4) Rename folder to "draw-on-your-screen@som.codeberg.org"
5) Copy/Move "draw-on-your-screen@som.codeberg.org" to ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions
6) Open file metadata.json with any text editor and change last GNOME version string ( it is 40 in file) to 42.0 then save this file.
7) restart gnome-shell: Xorg -> press Alt+F2 and r , Wayland: restart or re-login 8) Enable the extension with GNOME Extensions or GNOME Tweaks application 9) Press Super+Alt+D to test
10) You are done. Perfectly work for me
